I offer 45-minute weekly therapy sessions. I accept Aetna and Cigna insurance and will soon accept Optum. My out-of-pocket fee is $200.
I offer a limited number of sliding scale slots for clients who lack insurance or find my out-of-pocket rate of $200 challenging. Priority is given to individuals from historically marginalized communities, including those who identify as Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, or People of Color. I ask that those who can pay my full rate do, ensuring that these limited slots can remain open.
I currently have availability at the following rates: $125, $150, $175, $200.
I do not offer bi-weekly therapy sessions at this time.

Group Therapy can be a powerful tool for healing. Groups are 60 minutes in length. I accept multiple insurances and my out-of-pocket fee is $70 per group session.
Throughout the year I facilitate a few groups on a variety of topics including exploring mental health through photography and exploring mixed-race identity formation.

I’m happy to provide a sliding scale rate for the first year of work. After that period, we may need to discuss adjusting the rate.
When reaching out, please let me know if you’re interested in the sliding scale option, so we can cover this during our initial consultation.

I do not offer bi-weekly sessions to new clients. I believe that to build a strong therapeutic alliance, weekly sessions are necessary.
-
At this time I am only seeing clients remotely via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. In the future I hope to see clients in person.
-
Individual therapy sessions are 45 minutes long. Group therapy sessions are 60 minutes long.

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy after which time a late cancellation fee is charged. If my schedule allows I will offer an opportunity to reschedule our session for later in the week to avoid this fee.
Clients are provided 5 free planned cancellations each calendar year. After the 5th planned cancellation all cancellations, planned or not, will incur a cancellation fee.
By maintaining this cancellation policy I am able to continue to provide sliding scale rates to historically marginalized communities, including those who identify as Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, or People of Color.

Per my New York State licensure, I am required to take 36 hours of continuing education classes every three years. I use this as an opportunity to strengthen my understanding of my core therapeutic frameworks and become more competent with topics I am less familiar with.
